Study in USA – FAQ

One year of study gap is accepted by the US universities or colleges. However, if you have more than one year of gap, you have to provide a valid reason and evidence that justifies the gap years.
The US universities offer graduate and undergraduate degrees however colleges only offer undergraduate degrees.
International students can work on campus up to 20 hours a week in the first year of study in USA. They can apply to work off-campus in the subsequent years only with due permission of the International Student Office (under CPT or OPT).

If you enrolled yourself in the public universities, you have to pay approx. $15,000 to $35,000 per annum, however, if you are admitted to private colleges, you have to pay $30,000 to $45,000 as yearly expenses. All intakes are equally important but international students must apply for the fall (begins in September) intake. Because many universities or colleges do not offer admissions during the summer (starts in May) and spring (begins in January) intakes.
